The Centre for Health Innovation and Policy (CHIP) Foundation<\/strong> is a Section 8 non-profit organisation<\/strong> dedicated to reducing the burden of cancer and tobacco-related disease through prevention, research, advocacy, and community action – for every community that needs it.<\/p>\n

In global public health, organisations frequently rely on emotional appeals and grim statistics to solicit support. CHIP Foundation rejects this passive paradigm \u2014 operating instead as a rigorous, data-driven institution that approaches public health not as a series of charitable acts, but as a scalable, high-yield science.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

We exist because the gap between what science can do and what communities actually receive is still too wide. Millions of lives are lost each year to cancers that could have been prevented or detected early enough to treat. The knowledge exists. The tools exist. What has often been missing is the sustained, coordinated investment to bring them to the people who need them most \u2014 and that is precisely the work CHIP Foundation was built to do.<\/p>\n

Our core philosophy is that structural inequities should never dictate human survival. Good health must not depend on commercial leverage or geographic chance. Founded by Prof. Ravi Mehrotra \u2014 former Director of the ICMR\u2013National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research, India’s apex institution for cancer prevention science \u2014 CHIP positions itself at the vital intersection of international clinical research, national policy formulation, and grassroots implementation. Every initiative is measurable, independently audited, and directly aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 and India’s sovereign healthcare priorities.<\/p>\n

CHIP Foundation is not a charity that delivers one-off interventions.
